NCYP To Co-Plan "Party at the Plaza" Again This Year: NCYP will be planning and putting on the 2009 "Party at the Plaza" outdoor Summer Concert Series with Sandusky Mainstreet Association. Along with the bands, there will be food, classic cars shows and cornhole tounaments. There will be a little bit of everything to help people enjoy downtown Sandusky. NCYP is currently looking for sponsors and volunteers. Please contact NCYP if you are interested. Stay tuned to this website for more details!
NCYP Plans Networking Cruise with YPO's from Toledo and Cleveland: The NCYP Social Committee is currently in the planning stages of a joint networking cruise with Young Professional Organizations from Toledo and Cleveland. "This will be a great opportunity for young professionals from our area to extend their business contacts to larger markets." comments Andrew Gundlach, NCYP Board Chair. The event will be held on a weeknight in July upon the Goodtime I from of Sandusky Harbor. Exact times and entertainment TBA.

June 10th: Canoe Tour of Old Woman's Creek and I-5's Mixer- North Coast Young Professionals will canoe the waters of Old Woman’s Creek on June 10th from 5:30 PM – 7 PM. Old Woman’s Creek is a unique fresh water estuary and part of a national program of protected sites devoted to research of estuaries. Manager Frank Lopez will lead the trip and discuss the sites history and ecology. RSVP’s are required due to the number of canoes provided by Old Woman’s Creek. If you would like bring your on canoe, please contact Old Woman’s Creek prior to the event to obtain a permit. We will head to I-5’s in Huron after canoeing.

June 13th: NCYP Fundraiser - For one of our largest fundraisers of the year, NCYP will again be serving refreshements at Tent #3 (In front of the State Theatre) on the second Saturday of the North Coast Thunder Rally Ohio Bike Week. Please come and help out. Shifts run from 11-3, 3-7, 7-10, and 10-1. Proceeds help to grow NCYP and allow us to continue our work of business networking and economic development in the Firelands Region.

July 1st: NCYP Networking Cruise - Come join fellow young professionals from Cleveland, Toledo and our area for a sunset cruise around Sandusky Bay. While we're networking, the Cocobeano's will be performing a live "unplugged" session for our entertainment. Also included will be appitisers from Danny Boy's Italian Eatery. The ship begins boarding at 6:30 and shoves off at 7:00. Don't miss this NCYP "Flagship" Event!
